BUILDING SECURED INCOME
Patrick Monaghan is a Vice President responsible for transaction underwriting and financial analysis. Mr. Monaghan has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and investment management.
Prior to joining Terra Capital Partners, Mr. Monaghan was a Vice President at H/2 Capital Partners, where he focused on the origination of new investments, real estate credit underwriting and risk management. Mr. Monaghan’s experience included underwriting and closing of first mortgage and subordinate debt investments, credit evaluation and monitoring for the firm’s commercial mortgage portfolio, execution and risk management of liquid market investments, various restructuring opportunities and special servicing.
Prior to joining H/2, Mr. Monaghan worked in the real estate finance group of RBS Greenwich Capital in several areas, including CMBS strategy, structured finance and whole loan origination, where his responsibilities included loan underwriting, coordination of real estate and legal due diligence processes, loan documentation and structuring, and securitization execution.
Mr. Monaghan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
